Job Overview

This role involves designing and developing SLA, SLO, SLI of services within the business unit. It requires a high level of technical expertise in Linux system operation and extensive skills in Linux commands. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Unix/Linux/Shell/Python scripting, automation/configuration management, and cloud infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and operate one or more of following systems: Kubernetes, Nginx, ELK stack, Hadoop, etc.
  • Automate routine manual production/non-production operations using technologies like Ansible, Chef, etc.
  • Propose and implement automation to increase productivity and quality.
  • Improve system performance and reliability continuously.
  • Take ownership of services and proactively respond to production issues.
Requirements:
  • Must-have
  • Over 8 years of experience in SRE, handling high traffic production systems independently, troubleshooting (middleware, infra), automation, regular operation, etc.
  • Implement Site Reliability Engineering principles for performance, reliability, monitoring, alerting in Production environment.
  • Manage large-scale services effectively.
  • Experience in designing and constructing public clouds (e.g., GCP, Azure), preferably GCP.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD/CT pipelines using tools like Jenkins/Bamboo and VCS such as GIT/SVN.
  • Strong knowledge of LINUX based system operation and extensive skills in Linux commands.
  • Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux/Shell/Python scripting.
  • Experience with automation/configuration management, e.g., Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible.
