Cloud Engineer Lead Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to lead our team in building and supporting cloud infrastructure efforts.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in DevOps, SRE, Jenkins, Groovy, and GCP, with expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, and Google cloud services.

  • Lead a team of engineers to build and support cloud infrastructure, including debugging issues and supporting engineering deliveries.
  • Develop sustainable DevOps capability to adapt to changing tooling landscapes and control environments.
  • Have a good build engineering background to effectively engage in debugging development and production environments and help team members resolve tooling issues.
  • Accountable for timely delivery of tooling for engineering deliveries.
  • Utilize logical and analytical abilities to drive automation tasks and lead teams.
  • Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to deliver projects on time.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Jenkins, Groovy, and GCP.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, and Google cloud services.
  • Strong understanding of networking (cloud and on-premise) for E2E workload build and deployments.
  • Hands-on experience with automation of build, deployments, code scanning tools, and tooling integration using web services via pipelines.
  • Good understanding of monitoring tools such as Datadog, AppDynamics, and Grafana.
  • Understanding of banking domain IT controls and processes is desirable.
  • Terraform tooling for infrastructure build.
  • GCP/AWS, Kubernetes Cloud Certification is an advantage.
  • Hands-on skills for building Jenkins scripted pipelines using groovy language.
