As a Lead Systems Development Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure across multiple environments.

This includes architecting, deploying and optimizing Azure-based solutions, as well as leading cloud migration and modernization initiatives with an emphasis on Azure technologies.

You will develop and maintain infrastructure as code using modern DevOps practices, implement and manage containerized workloads using AKS and EKS, and establish and enforce cloud security standards and best practices across environments.

Additionally, you will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated deployments, provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, and optimize cloud resource usage and implement cost management strategies.

Furthermore, you will troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments and ensure the smooth operation of cloud-based systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering/architecture roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure, plus working knowledge of AWS and GCP platforms
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes orchestration, particularly AKS, with knowledge of EKS
  • Experience with Karpenter, ArgoCD, and Istio in container environments
  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud security principles and implementations
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud networking concepts and solutions
  • Proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (particularly Terraform, Azure ARM templates, and AWS CloudFormations)
  • Self-driven work ethic with ability to manage complex projects independently
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
