Drone Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Drone Operations Specialist to join our field operations team in support of a government project in the energy sector.

Job Summary

  • Operate AI-powered drones to capture high-quality aerial data of electrical infrastructure such as poles, transformers, and other assets.
  • Capture clear, precise images/videos of assigned infrastructure.
  • Maintain drones, batteries, and related equipment in proper working condition.
  • Collaborate with field teams to identify areas requiring drone mapping.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Data Collection: Operate drones to capture images/videos of poles, transformers, and other assigned infrastructure.
  2. Data Submission: Ensure accurate data collection and timely submission of captured files.
  3. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain drones, batteries, and related equipment in proper working condition.
  4. Field Collaboration: Collaborate with field teams to identify areas requiring drone mapping.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Drone Pilot or knowledge of drone handling.
  • Valid drone flying license/Remote Pilot Certificate (if required by regulations).
  • Familiarity with drone hardware, batteries, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to capture clear, precise images.
  • Ability to work in field locations and travel as per project needs.
  • You should be comfortable using and handling computer systems (laptops).
