Job Title: Placement Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to facilitate placements for various schools within a prestigious university, including business, design, computer science, health sciences and technology, law, engineering, and liberal studies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry roles and market awareness. They should be proactive, self-motivated, and well-versed in effective communication and team coordination.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining client relations with industries and companies
  • Convincing companies to recruit students through campus placements and internships
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with good exposure on social networking platforms
  • Strong presentation abilities and excellent communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office (Excel, PPT, etc.)
  • Ability to work in stretched timelines and travel extensively
  • Business development support to the corporate relations team and providing valid leads and fixing meetings

The main goal of this role is to ensure the seamless execution of career services activities across campuses and schools. The ideal candidate should be able to handle student counseling and query solving on a day-to-day basis, while also being aware of higher education options and incubation centers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and minimum 5 years of experience in placement management or a related field

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
