Agile Project Manager Role

This is a role for an Agile Project Manager to oversee Scrum ceremonies and ensure the team is working collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

The Agile Project Manager will be responsible for facilitating all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Additionally, they will coach the team on Agile/Scrum best practices and principles, remove impediments, and foster a collaborative, self-organizing team environment.

They will also track and communicate team metrics to stakeholders and work closely with the Team, Business, and Stakeholders to ensure a well-groomed and prioritized backlog.

Business Analyst Duties:

The Agile Project Manager will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for data warehouse and data services projects.

They will translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria, and work with data architects, engineers, and QA to ensure requirements are understood and delivered accurately.

They will develop process flows, data mappings, and other documentation as needed, support data quality initiatives, and help define data governance standards.

Finally, they will assist in user acceptance testing and validation of data solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a technical environment.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in data warehousing, data analytics, or data services.
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Optional but good to have - Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)
  • Experience with SQL and data analysis tools is a plus.
