Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Principal Officer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for leading compliance efforts and managing day-to-day operations in Gift City-Gandhinagar.

The successful candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience in Alternate Investment Fund regulations and hold a CS or CA or MBA degree. They will be equipped to conduct research under SEBI AIF Regulations, FEMA, and other relevant regulations.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading compliance for all provisions of the SEBI Act, AIF Regulations/FEMA/IFSC regulations, and circulars.
  • Managing Gift City operations and their compliances on a day-to-day basis.
  • Coordinating with teams for timely regulatory reporting and compliance.
  • Managing investor queries related to compliance on a regular basis.
  • Proactively identifying and addressing issues, as well as foreseeing outcomes within the operational risk framework.

Additional responsibilities include creating efficient controls for reconciliations, risk, and compliance management, reviewing daily/periodical MIS, and managing daily operations.

You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with incubators, accelerators, Angel Networks, Micro VC, etc., running outreach programs, meeting, evaluating, coaching, mentoring, and supporting startups' ecosystems.

In this role, you will represent senior management and drive the organizational culture and values among the employee base.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in related activities in the securities market or financial products, including portfolio manager, broker dealer, investment advisor, wealth manager, research analyst, or fund management.
  • Knowledge of Finance/Accounting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint.
