- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to IT procurement.
- Assess and manage risks associated with IT procurement activities.
- Develop and implement processes to mitigate potential risks.
- Establish quality standards for IT products and services.
- Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to the procurement team.
Requirements:
- Strong background in procurement with experience in managing end-to-end IT procurement.
- Experience with e-procurement and supply chain systems.
- Strong commercial skills with the ability to build long-term relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience in working within a technology/telecommunications business in the supply chain.
- Familiarity with Framework/Master Services Agreements.
- Procurement technical skills including negotiation skills, contract drafting, and category management techniques.
- Outstanding negotiation and influencing skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Applications, especially MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
