Project Manager - Skid Operations

Job Description:

  1. Lead Project Team to Deliver Skid Projects
  2. Familiarize yourself with fabrication practices of skids and its components, along with various manufacturing techniques and scheduling.
  3. Develop the capability to organize and lead multiple skid projects across different plants.
  4. Achieve customer satisfaction rates of 90% or higher.
  5. Establish production objectives, standards, and schedules while ensuring cost and delivery effectiveness.
  6. Organize resources for projects, production planning, and maintenance activities in line with requirements.
  7. Knowledge of ASME standards, IBR codes, and EN codes is essential, along with lean manufacturing techniques.
  8. Prepare and negotiate change orders (COR) with customers.
  9. Ensure on-time delivery to avoid late delivery penalties.
  10. Manage real-time projects from start to finish.
  11. Oversee commercial aspects and contract conditions.
  12. Mitigate material risks by managing Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
  13. Coordinate with design teams, projects teams, purchase teams, vendors, and suppliers to align with monthly production plans.
  14. Drive continuous improvement in vendor development and selection.
  15. Participate in root cause analysis and collaborate on corrective strategies with operations and procurement teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 15-20 years of experience in projects management, specifically with skids and process modules.
  • Knowledge of static equipment, boiler pressure parts, and spools will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of computers and MS Office.
  • Commercial/contractual terms knowledge.
  • In-depth knowledge of ASME, IBR, and EN codes.
  • Experience in Prime Vera, MS Project, and certification will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to review and analyze MTO drawings and technical documents to identify scope of work.
