Senior Software Tester

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Software Tester to join our team. Based in Mysuru, India, we are dedicated to staying at the forefront of emerging technology trends.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in both manual and automated testing, a strong grasp of testing methodologies, and proven experience in driving quality throughout the SDLC.

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to validate functionality, performance, and scalability.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and performance issues using tools like Jira or Bugzilla.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to refine requirements and define test scenarios.
  • Perform different types of testing (regression, API, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with software development and testing standards.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports with actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
  • Hands-on expertise in manual testing, test automation, and API testing.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries for database validation.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in software testing.
  • Experience in mobile application testing.
  • Relevant certifications in Quality Assurance are a plus.
