Software Quality Assurance Specialist

  • Identify key test team objectives and align testing efforts with overall program goals.
  • Determine the necessary testing resources and create a comprehensive test plan in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Design, review, and execute thorough test cases to ensure software quality.
  • Execute various levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression) and assess user stories for validity and feasibility.
  • Lead the investigation and resolution of customer-reported defects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the test team in delivering high-quality software products by ensuring that testing efforts are aligned with the program roadmap.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and project management, to identify testing needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough testing of software releases.
  • Continuously monitor test progress, assess resource allocation, and make adjustments as needed to ensure timely delivery of testing results.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in software testing within a reputable organization.
  • Significant experience working as a software tester in an established IT organization.
  • Strong knowledge of the banking domain.
  • Ability to learn digital banking concepts.
  • Working-level understanding of the phases and nuances of STLC.
  • Ability to adhere to established quality processes.
  • Proficiency in automation tools is advantageous.
