Test Architect Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Test Architect to join our team.

This is a key role that involves ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through effective testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive testing plans for complex software systems.
  • Implement automation tests using Python and Pytest framework to validate software functionality.
  • Lead API testing initiatives to ensure seamless integration and functionality of backend services.
  • Utilize Selenium for web application testing and Appium for mobile testing.
  • Define test architecture guidelines and best practices for the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Agile testing methodologies alignment.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to optimize testing processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in software testing with expertise in Python, Pytest framework, Selenium, API testing, and Appium.
  • Strong knowledge of test architecture design and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in Python and Pytest framework.
  • Experience with Selenium and Appium.
  • Strong understanding of API testing.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
