Job Title: Global Trade Expert

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update export files and bills of lading in a centralized system, ensuring seamless operations across the country.
  • Receive and update remarks from the intermodal team regarding import and export cleanup files, facilitating smooth processing.
  • Handle export invoice RFIs within established turnaround times, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Respond to queries from vendors, GBS teams, and customers, providing prompt support.
  • Ensure SDP and SDD code generation within specified deadlines, streamlining processes.
  • Follow up on outstanding bill payments with vendors and GBS teams, aligning payment processes and updating receivable teams.
  • Collaborate with the Mumbai intermodal team to generate freight orders and update COLs on LARA and LISA systems, meeting deadlines.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on intermodal moves, providing valuable insights.
  • Address and resolve service-related issues or escalations in a timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations, maintaining high standards.
  • Educate vendors on invoicing processes, ensuring they comply with company standards and submit accurate invoices on time.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Possess a graduate degree.
  • Demonstrate good analytical and reporting skills.
  • Show proactivity, self-motivation, and hard work.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be well-versed in MS Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
