Job Overview

The Individual will play a key role in our engineering team, developing and executing comprehensive performance testing strategies. This includes translating performance requirements into scenarios that replicate production.

  • Maintain expertise in performance/load testing principles.
  • Design and develop solutions for supporting Cloud (Azure DevOps) and CI/CD for SeV utilization.
  • Communicate effectively across teams, vendors, and personnel when required.
  • Monitor Server metrics using APM tools.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement measures to increase automation effectiveness.
  • Innovate and implement solutions for industry standards.
  • Conduct analysis of business requirements, solution designs, process documentation for identifying feasible transactions.
  • Implement best performance test practices and standards as part of Enterprise solution.

Operational Management

Conduct endurance, stress, load, volume testing to validate software applications and infrastructure for stability and performance.

  • Provide Performance testing software systems support for respective business units.
  • Coordinate and execute creation of Test Cases, scripts and performance test execution.
  • Design, develop and execute scripts which validate test cases defined within the projects test plan.
  • Perform load testing across multiple messaging protocols, focusing on overall application performance.

People Leadership

  • Mentor and guide junior team members.

Experience & Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of Performance testing experience.
  • Min 5 years of experience with OpenText LoadRunner experience using protocols Citrix, RDP, Java, and Performance testing Mobile Technologies and database.
  • Significant experience working with Jmeter and APM tools including NewRelic and Graphana.
  • Proven experience with SOAP Web Services and RESTful Web Services testing using SOAP UI, Postman and Swagger.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Performance testing principles, techniques, and standards.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software quality assurance (SQA) processes.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in CI/CD tools and practices.
