Manufacturing Model Design Specialist

This is a key role in our Manufacturing Engineering Department where you will be responsible for designing and developing 3D models and stage drawings required for CNC machine shop operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare 3D models as per project requirements.
  • Develop stage drawings required for CNC machine shop operations.
  • Design and prepare models/drawings for jigs & fixtures.
  • Support additional engineering activities as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in 3D modeling using SolidWorks preferably in Oil & Gas (completion tools experience).
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D drafting.
  • Thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Solid knowledge of designing fixtures for CNC machines (HMC VMC CNC).
  • Hands-on experience and strong understanding of CNC machining processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for technical documentation and reporting.
  • Effective communication skills in English both written & verbal.
  • Exposure to Oil & Gas industry standards will be an added advantage.
