Financial Reporting Specialist

This role is ideal for individuals who can interpret and communicate complex financial information. Your main responsibility will be to play a key role in the quantitative analysis of financial data.

  • You will support general accounting activities in line with defined strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare and present financial data for review by management to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Create financial models and pro-formas, including the development of supporting tools.
  • Carry out operational reporting, develop dashboards, key performance metrics, and trend analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Support Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) activities, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analytics, and reporting.
  • Conduct variance analysis to compare actual vs. budget/forecast and identify trends and key drivers.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as revenue growth, gross margin, operating expenses, and working capital.
  • Support month-end close activities, including accrual calculations, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, sales, operations) to provide financial insights for decision-making.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Possess some knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools, dashboarding, and reporting.
  • A Bachelor's degree or MBA in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce with prior experience in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Energetic and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while achieving set goals and targets within deadlines.
