Master Data Specialist Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Master Data Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our master data in our SAP-ERP system.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Monitor, evaluate, create, and maintain master data integrity in our SAP-ERP system.">
  • Support the current MM footprint and analyze and solve SAP MM issues to improve efficiencies and reduce costs associated with maintenance and creation of master data.">
  • Identify process improvement efforts within the department and across the company to increase accuracy and reduce costs.">
  • Support key projects and business processes for creating, changing, and deleting SAP master data.">
  • Provide training and support for the material master request form.">
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Purchasing, Operations, and Finance to create and maintain part numbers and master data.">
  • Process Engineering Change Notification/Engineering Change Request control.">
  • Provide technical data to Logistics and Trade Compliance Team for HSN code allotment of commodities.">
  • Set up Kanban and backflush for the RM of all Product Families.">
  • Work with Global Engineering team on updating documents.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics or ETC Engineering/Mechanical Engineering with 4-5 years of experience.">
  • Diploma with specialization in Electronics & Communications or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 7-8 years of experience.">

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP systems.">
  • Understanding of BOM & Routing structure and ability to read product drawings.">
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing working environment.">
  • Ability to effectively interact with personnel of various levels and disciplines.">
  • Regularly contact, influence, and negotiate with both internal and external individuals on complex issues.">
  • Basic knowledge of fiber optics.">
