Job Title: Data Migration Expert

The primary objective of the Data Migration Expert is to ensure seamless execution of data migration activities.

This position involves close collaboration with business and functional teams, acting as a bridge between Global Data Migration Experts and local execution teams.

The expert's role is crucial in capturing local requirements accurately in conversion workbooks and effectively delivering them during deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as focal point for assigned data objects in scope for deployment or local data migration projects.
  • Collaborate with Business Data Owners, Functional Experts, ETL teams, legacy system teams, and deployment teams.
  • Drive migration activities for deployment projects.
  • Verify data transformation tools and outputs for deployment wave projects.
  • Manage DMW load file preparation and perform initial verification.
  • Execute DVT scripts and support defect/hypercare incident resolution for assigned data objects.
  • Coordinate defect resolution or escalate to GDMEs as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of ERP project implementation experience, with strong data migration expertise.
  • Proven experience in data migration execution across multi-country, multi-system environments.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SAP BODS.
  • Strong understanding of GxP and CSV requirements.
  • SAP Certified in at least one relevant functional area.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, matrix-based organization.
  • Strategic and hands-on mindset with experience running meetings, tracking progress, and managing issues.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English.

Preferred Experience:

  • Exposure to healthcare or regulated industry environments.
  • Prior experience leading data migration in large ERP programs.
