Geospatial Data Expert

A Geospatial Data Expert plays a vital role in the production and management of geospatial data across various projects. The position encompasses tasks such as digitization, geocoding, and conducting surveys when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage geospatial data, including digitization and geocoding processes.
  • Collect, process, and manage spatial data to ensure accuracy and integrity across projects.
  • Integrate geospatial solutions with existing systems and customize applications to meet specific client requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive geospatial solutions.
  • Meet project deadlines by producing high-quality work.
  • Apply attention to detail to produce precise and accurate geospatial data.
  • Conduct field surveys as required to collect accurate geospatial information.
Required Skills and Tools:
  • Strong understanding of geospatial concepts and software tools.
  • Expertise in geospatial tools such as ArcGIS / QGIS / MapInfo / GeoServer / AutoCAD.
  • Ability to adapt to fieldwork and various project requirements.
  • Familiarity with online software like Google Drive and Google Sheets.
  • Experience in using CAD tools.
  • Willingsness to travel for project requirements.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in geospatial application development and implementation.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or Diploma in Geography, Geoinformatics, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
  • Certifications in geospatial technologies or related areas are advantageous.
