Cloud Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to lead our cloud financial management initiatives and drive operational excellence on the Azure platform.

  • Shape cloud service strategies, lead research and proof of concepts (POCs), and provide opinionated insights to influence offerings and internal best practices.
  • Manage and optimize Azure costs, designing secure & scalable cloud solutions, and exploring emerging technologies such as Generative AI.

The ideal candidate should be currently working with an MSP and delivering Cloud optimization services to multiple customers. They should demonstrate experience with Cloud Migration and Cloud Optimization.

Strong expertise across Azure services (VMs, Blob Storage, SQL DB, AKS, Functions, Azure OpenAI) is required. Proficiency in PowerShell/Python scripting for automation is also necessary.

The role involves conducting Azure Well-Architected Framework Reviews, managing Azure governance and compliance (Policies, Blueprints, Management Groups), and implementing cost-management strategies through monitoring, optimization, and automation of Azure services.

Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or equivalent certification is preferred. Experience in Azure Governance, Policy, Compliance, and Security frameworks is also beneficial.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7+ years of experience in cloud operations with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
