The role requires end-to-end ownership of innovation, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs.

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development of new beauty devices and accessories, leveraging expertise in hardware product development, design for manufacturing and design for X (DFM/DFX), and vendor management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">
  • ">
  • 6–10 years of experience in hardware product development for small appliances/consumer electronics/beauty devices.">
  • Proven expertise in DFM/DFX, basic electrical/mechanical literacy (PCBA, plastics, metals, silicone), tooling, and reliability testing.">
  • Strong vendor management skills in India/China/Korea; hands-on experience with RFQs, BOMs, PPAP/FAT.">
  • Familiarity with Indian and global compliance pathways for consumer devices.">
  • Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks/Creo), basic FEA/CFD interpretation, Jira/PLM, Excel for should-costs.">
  • Execution bias; ability to run parallel tracks and meet deadlines.">

Key Responsibilities:

  1. ">
  2. Define problem statements, user requirements, and success metrics, aligning with brand, supply chain, and finance goals.">
  3. Drive concept development through EVT/DVT/PVT, managing tooling, tolerances, materials, and reliability testing.">
  4. Evaluate motor, heat, airflow modules, power electronics, and safety features.">
  5. Identify and qualify OEM/ODM/component suppliers, negotiate MOQs, and build should-cost models.">
  6. Plan test protocols and documentation for compliance with regulatory requirements.">
  7. Partner with industrial designers to ensure ergonomics, acoustic comfort, thermals, and serviceability, as well as packaging fit/spec.">
  8. Pilot builds, line setup, SOPs, spares/after-sales, user manuals, and risk registers for go-to-market readiness.">
  9. Track field performance, NPS/reviews, failure modes, and drive rapid revs and cost/quality improvements.">
