Job Title:

IT Asset Management Professional

We are seeking a skilled IT asset management professional to oversee end-to-end IT asset management processes, ensure cost optimization and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in software asset management (SAM), license management, procurement, renewals, and optimization.

This role requires collaboration with various teams, including finance, security, and IT operations, to ensure compliance and governance.

The successful candidate will perform software discovery, reconciliation, and compliance checks across multiple publishers.

They will also provide strategic inputs for vendor negotiations, true-up, and contract renewals.

Key responsibilities include driving process improvements and automation within ITAM/SAM practice and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

The selected candidate will develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor ITAM/SAM performance and governance.

Required Skills & Competencies:
  • 7+ years of experience in IT asset management and software asset management tools.
  • Solid understanding of license models, including perpetual, subscription, cloud/SaaS, BYOL, and enterprise agreements.
  • Hands-on experience in software license optimization, audits, and compliance management.
  • Able to manage hardware asset lifecycle, including procurement, inventory, disposal, and refresh.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes, particularly ITAM/SAM, CMDB, Incident, Change, and Procurement.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience in Excel, Power BI, or ServiceNow reports.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
