Cloud Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee our cloud operations function supporting a large portfolio of enterprise customers running workloads across major cloud service providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for cloud service delivery across major cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and Snowflake.
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and contractual obligations are met.
  • Conduct regular service reviews with key clients to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers working in shifts (24x7) to optimize shift schedules and workload management.
  • Drive performance management, training, and career development to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management to improve process efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure proper documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base maintenance to support smooth operations and issue resolution.
  • Identify and execute automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Oversee cost optimization, security compliance, and performance monitoring to ensure optimal resource utilization and minimal risk.
  • Collaborate with architects and DevOps teams to drive infrastructure improvements and enhance overall system performance.
  • Work closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on delivery performance, risks, and improvements to inform strategic decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in IT services, with at least 2 years in Cloud/Operations delivery management.
  • Strong working knowledge of cloud services, operations, and ITIL frameworks.
  • Proven track record of managing customer portfolios and leading large teams in a 24x7 operational setup.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills to drive collaboration and success.
  • Experience with tools like ServiceNow, Jira, MS Project, CloudWatch, and Azure Monitor to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
