Dean of Pharmacy

We are seeking a visionary leader to establish and drive our pharmacy school's academic, administrative, and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will develop and implement the college's strategic plan, aligning with the university's mission and objectives.
  • They will oversee academic program development, implementation, and evaluation, including curriculum design and assessment.
  • The dean will manage faculty recruitment, development, and evaluation, ensuring a strong team that meets our academic standards.
  • They will be responsible for budget and resource management, as well as personnel oversight, to ensure the smooth operation of the school.
  • The dean must maintain accreditation standards and prepare for visits from accrediting agencies.
  • They will represent the pharmacy school at professional meetings and events, promoting our institution's reputation.
  • The successful candidate will coordinate with other university departments and external organizations to foster partnerships and collaborations.
Requirements:
  • A PhD in Pharmacy from an accredited university, with a first-class degree at Bachelor's and Master's level.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in teaching, industry, or research, with 5 years at Professor or above level in Pharmacy.
  • A national reputation in research, teaching, and service, with a strong track record of publications and awards.
  • Administrative experience in a responsible position, with a proven ability to lead and manage teams.
