System Architect Opportunity

At Kissht, we're on a mission to democratize credit access. Our platform handles millions of transactions monthly and is scaling rapidly.

We seek an experienced system architect who excels at designing and leading complex systems, people, and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design scalable architectures with focus on performance, security, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with the product team to define system requirements and solutions.
  • Develop containerized deployments using Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Work with Kafka, AWS services, and Grafana for monitoring and incident response.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and backlog discussions.
  • Keep technical documentation up-to-date.
  • Distribute work effectively within the team.
  • Monitor system health using tools like New Relic, Sentry, and jump into action during incidents.
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in backend development, with at least 4+ years in Golang.
  • Strong architecture skills and large-scale system experience.
  • Good understanding of Kafka.
  • Proficient with Docker; Kubernetes experience is beneficial.
  • Hands-on with AWS (ECS, ECR, S3, Lambda, Secrets Manager, EC2, Route 53).
  • Familiarity with MySQL and MongoDB.
  • Experience with one of these: Grafana, New Relic, Sentry.
  • Basic knowledge of Python or Shell scripting.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
