Job Title: Assistance Vice President EXL/SAVP/1127330

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistance Vice President to join our team at EXL, focusing on financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation and review of 10-Q/K filings, including financial statements, footnotes, and management's discussion and analysis (MD&A) and management review decks.
  • Compliance: Ensure all filings comply with SEC regulations and GAAP standards and internal controls.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with various departments to gather required information and ensure consistency across reports.
  • Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis and interpretation of financial data to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Internal Controls: Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
  • Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation supporting all disclosures and financial statement line items.
  • Training and Development: Mentor and develop junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in financial reporting, with a strong background in SEC filings and public company reporting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial reporting software.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Time Management: Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ethics: High level of integrity and professionalism.
