Financial Consolidation and Reporting Role

At Innovatiview India Private Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Consolidation and Reporting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the financial consolidation process for multiple legal entities in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), GAAP, or local accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial consolidation process for multiple legal entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Oversee intercompany eliminations, minority interests, and ensure accuracy in all consolidation adjustments.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Coordinate with global finance teams to collect, consolidate, and analyze financial data from various business units.

Financial Reporting:

  • Oversee the preparation of periodic management reports, including variance analysis, budget vs actuals, and financial performance insights.
  • Ensure compliance with external financial reporting requirements, including statutory filings, tax filings, and regulatory reports.
  • Collaborate with the CFO and senior management to provide actionable financial insights and recommendations based on consolidated financial data.

SAP System Optimization:

  • Leverage SAP S/4HANA, SAP BPC, and SAP FICO expertise to streamline the consolidation and reporting process.
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of SAP modules for financial consolidation, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in the financial close process.
  • Collaborate with the IT and SAP support teams to resolve system issues, drive upgrades, and configure system enhancements related to financial reporting.
  • Drive the automation of reporting and consolidation processes, reducing manual intervention and ensuring real-time reporting capabilities.

Compliance and Controls:

  • Ensure compliance with Indian tax laws, Ind AS, IFRS, and other regulatory standards relevant to financial consolidation.
  • Establish and maintain internal control processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of consolidated financial information.
  • Prepare and support audit processes, liaising with external and internal auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations related to consolidated financial reports.
  • Ensure that consolidation processes adhere to SOX or other internal control frameworks, where applicable.

Strategic Financial Planning:

  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on consolidated financial data to assist in strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Lead initiatives focused on continuous improvement in financial consolidation and reporting processes, including automation and system enhancements.
  • Work closely with the CFO and leadership team to support the organization's broader financial goals.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of financial consolidation, reporting, and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP BPC, and SAP FICO.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
