About the Role:

The compensation expert will be responsible for end-to-end payroll management, ensuring timely and accurate processing of employee salaries. Key responsibilities include managing monthly payroll processing, validating and reconciling inputs, and ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage monthly payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Validate and reconcile inputs such as attendance, leave records, new joiners, exits, salary revisions, and variable pay.
  • Ensure full compliance with PF, ESI, PT, TDS, gratuity, and other applicable labor laws.
  • Handle employee queries related to salary, taxation, and payroll policies.
  • Prepare payroll MIS reports and analytics for management review.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor laws, taxation, and statutory compliance.
  • Support process automation, audits, and continuous improvement in payroll systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or HR. MBA/PGDM or CMA/CA certification preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in payroll management (India payroll).

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems (SAP, ADP, etc.).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas, reconciliations).
  • Knowledge of income tax and statutory compliance.
