Job Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to play a key role in building scalable systems and efficient workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Automation Expertise: Develop, design, and maintain robust automated test suites using modern frameworks like Playwright.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with business requirements.
  • Test Framework Development: Build reusable test frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
  • CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient deployments.
  • Defect Tracking and Resolution: Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, and collaborate with engineering to drive resolution.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing efforts.
  • Performance and Regression Testing: Conduct performance testing, regression testing, and cross-browser testing to validate application quality across platforms.
  • Industry Trends and Best Practices: Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in test automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience and Skills: 8+ years of total experience in software testing, with 3+ years specifically in test automation using Playwright or equivalent frameworks. Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
  • API and Version Control Knowledge: Good understanding of RESTful APIs and experience using tools like Postman for API testing. Experience with version control systems and collaborative workflows.
  • CI/CD and Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with CI/CD tools and solid grasp of Agile methodologies.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
