Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer with strong expertise in C#, Selenium, and JavaScript to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web and API testing. The ideal candidate should have experience in building robust automation solutions, working in Agile teams, and using tools like Jira for test management and defect tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using C# and Selenium WebDriver.
• Write and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and regression testing.
• Develop JavaScript-based automation scripts where required for front-end validations.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members to ensure high-quality releases.
• Perform defect management, tracking, and reporting using Jira.
• Create detailed test cases, test data, and documentation for automation coverage.
• Identify test automation opportunities and contribute to automation strategy and roadmap.
• Ensure test scripts are reliable, maintainable, and reusable.
• Provide feedback on software design and user experience from a testability perspective.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation.
• Strong programming skills in C# (must-have).
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI test automation.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript for automation scripting and front-end testing.
• Experience with Jira for defect tracking and Agile project management.
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good knowledge of API testing (REST/Soap) and tools like Postman or RestSharp (C# libraries).
• Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
