Azure Data Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced data engineer to lead our team in designing and optimizing modern data platforms.

  • Drive the development of scalable data solutions using Databricks architecture.
  • Build efficient ETL/ELT pipelines with Python (PySpark).
  • Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Git/DevOps tools.
  • Design data lakes, warehouses & lakehouses that meet our business needs.
  • Optimize Databricks clusters, jobs & workflows for batch and streaming operations.

Key requirements include 5+ years of experience in data engineering, strong expertise in Databricks and Apache Spark, hands-on experience with Unity Catalog for governance and lineage, and a proven track record of building optimized ETL pipelines.

Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Databricks and PySpark
- Experience with Unity Catalog and DevOps practices
- Strong understanding of data governance and security
- Proven ability to design and optimize data pipelines
