Senior Ecommerce Developer

We are seeking a seasoned ecommerce developer to join our team.

This is a career-defining role as a senior developer for an ecommerce website. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering rigorously tested, bug-free software and providing internal support for the website at various levels.

Main Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior ecommerce developer for an ecommerce web-based solution, focusing on the SAP Hybris platform.
  • Implement standards for development, source code control, documentation, digital testing practices, and release management.
  • Contribute to the IT Department's policies and procedures for the SAP Hybris ecommerce platform.
  • Collaborate within a software development team using source code management software such as Git.
  • Deliver high-quality code in a timely manner, meeting quality expectations and supported by well-documented architectural designs.
  • Provide level 1, 2, and 3 support for SAP Hybris ecommerce platform solutions, working with external vendors and support services.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to investigate and address defects, incidents, and outages.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficient in Java development with significant experience.
  • Development experience with B2C and B2B Hybris accelerators, OCC, WCMS, Media, Backoffice, Cockpits, and ASM.
  • Familiarity with search engines like Solr, Coveo, and lucidchart.
  • Experience integrating various payment providers.
