Job Role Overview:

This role is focused on delivering timely and effective order management services to regional Sales Teams.

  • Evaluate demand over the horizon, allocate priorities to orders/customers based on defined parameters.
  • Ensure that all necessary checks are performed before validating demand, including POs available, LCs required, Regulatory clearances, Artwork Details, SKU codes, IL Check, Mfg License Check, Min Shelf-Life requirement, Pre shipment documents submission to customer & timelines, Regulatory Confirmation and any other Customer Specific requirement.
  • Analyze order status in our systems to identify potential issues affecting defined timelines.
  • Gather information on scheduling, material receipt and dispatch schedule to facilitate smooth order execution.
  • Highlight any potential issues which might affect defined timelines and escalate them to concerned stakeholders.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of assigned orders for the region and drive all documentation related to shipments with CFT teams.
  • Collaborate with Logistics teams to plan shipments and mitigate risks/delays proactively to incur no demurrage/penalties on shipments.
  • Attend relevant meetings to gather data and information on open orders for the region and their status updates.
  • Identify issues (e.g. artwork approval, batch size, minimum order quantity etc.) requiring resolution/approval/exemption by sales teams.
  • Arrange cross-functional meetings to resolve bottleneck-related issues impacting priority orders to ensure On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) delivery.
  • Seek feedback from timely resolution of issues with concerned stakeholders.
  • Identify outstanding/open orders for defined priority customers and analyze issues requiring immediate escalation to cross-functional teams.
  • Prioritize orders/customers based on defined parameters and engage key stakeholders to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Provide detailed analysis to the Head of Emerging Market SCM on all outstanding orders for discussion in meetings.

Supply Chain Technology and Automation:

  • Identify opportunities to implement IT and automation in Order Management processes to improve Supply Chain visibility.
  • Drive the implementation and rollout cycle for IT and technology automations within SCM jointly with IT.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and Reporting (VBA Macros, Power BI).
  • Good understanding and experience of Supply Chain essential, preferably Pharma.
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions.
  • Essential SAP knowledge.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Decision-making ability with a capacity to prioritize dynamically.
  • Negotiation skills/conflict resolution.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Capacity to understand and work around constraints.
  • Plant PPIC concepts clarity, prior experience essential.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
