High Voltage Inverter Design Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled high voltage inverter mechanical design engineer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to apply your knowledge of high voltage inverter mechanical design and development.

About the Role:

This role involves designing and developing mechanical packaging, structures, and thermal management systems for high-voltage power inverters. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all designs meet the required specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of high voltage inverter components, including power modules, DC link capacitors, EMC filters, and shielding.
  • Apply knowledge of clearances and creepage distances to ensure safe and reliable designs.
  • Conduct simulations to validate structural and thermal performance.
  • Use Unigraphics NX to model, draft, and develop plastic and casting designs, as well as generate sheet metal and shape designs.
  • Maintain excellent drafting skills and adhere to international design standards.
  • Utilize geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) skills to ensure accurate and precise designs.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement design for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA).
  • Develop strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to drive continuous improvement.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment and communicate efficiently with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in high voltage inverter mechanical design and development.
  • Excellent understanding of high voltage inverter components and their applications.
  • Proficiency in Unigraphics NX and other relevant CAD software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
