Physiotherapy Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapy Principal to provide academic and administrative leadership to our institution.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellence in teaching, clinical practice, research, and professional development while upholding institutional and statutory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develops and implements academic programs according to University, UGC, and statutory council norms.
  • Oversees curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and continuous assessment.
  • Guides faculty in research, publications, and participation in academic forums.
  • Evaluates effective clinical training and integration with hospital services.
Administrative & Managerial
  • Manages day-to-day administration of the Physiotherapy College/Department.
  • Ensures compliance with statutory regulations (UGC, State Council, University guidelines).
  • Recruits, mentors, and evaluates faculty and staff performance.
  • Prepares and manages resources to ensure infrastructure adequacy.
Quality & Compliance
  • Ensures adherence to accreditation standards (NABH, NAAC, etc.).
  • Maintains proper records of academic, clinical, and administrative activities.
  • Facilitates audits, inspections, and approvals from governing bodies.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborates with healthcare institutions, universities, and professional bodies.
  • Organizes workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance learning exposure.
  • Engages with parents, students, and alumni to strengthen institutional reputation.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: MPT / Ph.D. in Physiotherapy (specialization desirable in Orthopedics, Neurology, or Cardio-respiratory).
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of teaching/clinical experience, including at least 5 years in a Professor/Head role.
