Cash Collection Specialist

Job Description:

As a Cash Collection Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts receivable team. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, negotiate payment plans, and ensure timely collections.

You will work closely with our finance org to identify areas of improvement and implement processes to optimize revenue recognition and compliance with contractual terms.

  • Develop and maintain documentation and information systems to facilitate accurate reporting and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and resolve any issues that may arise.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • MBA Finance or Commerce Graduate with expertise in accounting and financial management.
  • 4-5 years of experience in accounts payable/receivable/asset management, with a proven track record of success in cash collection and customer service.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and ability to learn new software applications quickly.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
