Job Title: Technical Business Analyst – EDP Platform Engineering

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Business Analyst to support our EDP platform operations, data automation, cloud cost optimization, and infrastructure resiliency.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, data, and vendor management teams to drive process improvement and cost efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze workflows, define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and build dashboards for informed decision-making.
  • Support AWS cloud cost optimization through the effective use of Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and anomaly detection.
  • Assist with infrastructure monitoring, capacity planning, and resiliency initiatives, ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize processes and improve overall efficiency.

 

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3–5 years' experience in data analysis, Business Intelligence (BI), and cloud operations.
  • Strong skills in Structured Query Language (SQL) and Python/R programming languages for analysis and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud and FinOps practices.
  • Proficiency in Power BI/QuickSight or similar visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and cost optimization strategies.
  • Preferred qualifications include AWS certifications, Databricks/Big Data exposure, and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)/Continuous Integration-Continuous Deployment (CI-CD).
