Estimation Specialist

The primary function of an Estimation Specialist is to create accurate cost estimates for manufactured and fabricated components, analyze technical drawings and specifications to develop detailed bills of quantities, and coordinate with cross-functional teams for project costing.

Main responsibilities include engaging in reverse engineering and estimation for new developments, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and optimize vendor pricing, maintaining and updating databases for purchased items, and supporting responses to requests for quotation/proposal and preparing commercial proposals.

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
  • 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing/machinery estimation necessary
  • Proficiency in CAD software, MS Office essential
  • ERP familiarity preferred
