Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure on GCP, with a strong focus on scalability, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and architect our cloud platform on GCP, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid deployment and delivery of software applications.
  • Build and maintain our infrastructure-as-code foundation using Terraform, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all environments.
Security and Compliance
  • Leverage expertise in cloud security and compliance frameworks to ensure our infrastructure meets the highest standards.
  • Implement zero-trust networking and customer-managed encryption, setting the foundation for robust security practices.
  • Create automated security scanning and remediation systems to minimize risks and ensure compliance.
Platform Development
  • Design and develop self-service platforms for developers to provision infrastructure efficiently.
  • Create golden paths that promote secure and scalable choices by default.
  • Establish observability systems that provide real-time insights into production environments.
Scalability and Optimization
  • Architect systems capable of handling significant growth without major rewrites or resource overhauls.
  • Embed cost optimization into our cloud DNA, making informed resource decisions from the outset.
  • Implement disaster recovery and backup systems to ensure business continuity.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Deep expertise in GCP services and cloud architecture.
  • Strong experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
  • Proficiency in Go or Python for automation.
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
