Manual Quality Assurance Specialist

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Manual Quality Assurance specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, a strong understanding of product perspectives, and a passion for ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure thorough testing of our products.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to identify and report defects.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand product requirements.
  • Analyse test results, identify issues, and provide clear feedback to the development team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results using tools.
  • Focus on process-oriented testing while maintaining agility in test execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing processes to enhance product quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in manual testing with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think from user and product perspectives.
  • Experience in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Excellent understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in testing web and mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
