About the Stealth Prop-tech Platform

This initiative is focused on building a comprehensive ecosystem integrating long-term sales, short-term stays, and advanced technologies.

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain the core services and APIs that drive the platform's vision.

  • You will be responsible for everything "under the hood," from database architecture to business logic that handles property listings, user management, financial transactions, and AI features.
  • You will work closely with frontend and mobile developers, product managers, and data scientists to bring the platform's vision to life, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure RESTful APIs to serve all clients.
  2. Develop the core business logic for all platform features, including user authentication, property management (CRUD), search algorithms, and monetization systems (subscriptions, payments).
  3. Architect and manage the platform's database schema, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
  4. Lead the integration of numerous third-party services, including payment gateways, mapping services, messaging APIs, and virtual tour providers.
  5. Collaborate with the AI/ML team to build data pipelines and API endpoints necessary to support features like recommendation engines and automated property valuations.
  6. Work with the Web3 team to integrate backend services with blockchain platforms for tokenization and cryptocurrency payment gateways.
  7. Implement robust security and data protection measures in line with international standards.
  8. Mentor junior backend developers, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
  9. Design and implement a scalable service-oriented or microservices-based architecture to support long-term growth and feature expansion.
Required Skills and Experience:

We are seeking a skilled professional with the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
  • Expert proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language and framework.
  • Strong experience designing and building RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures.
  • Deep expertise in relational database design and management.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and deploying applications in a cloud environment.
  • Solid understanding of software security principles and best practices.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

It would be beneficial if you have the following skills:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in the PropTech or FinTech sectors.
  • Experience working on projects that involve AI/ML.
  • Familiarity with blockchain concepts and experience integrating backend systems with Web3 technologies.
  • Experience with containerization technologies and orchestration tools.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies and building data pipelines.
