Job Summary: A seasoned engineer is sought to spearhead the conceptualization and development of cutting-edge Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize UAV airframes, sub-systems, and structural components.
  • Conduct aerodynamic analysis and optimization of UAV configurations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless system integration.
  • Develop detailed 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance for airworthiness through meticulous documentation and validation processes.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, materials, and design methodologies in UAV systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in UAV or aircraft design (internship experience may be considered for junior roles).
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and structural design.
  • Familiarity with composite materials and UAV fabrication techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with flight testing and UAV system integration is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience designing VTOL, hybrid, or long-endurance UAV platforms.
  • Familiarity with autopilot systems and avionics integration.
  • Knowledge of electric propulsion systems and battery technologies.
