Senior Design Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to lead our mechanical design efforts.

About the Job
  • CAD-Based Mechanical Design & Ownership

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing complex mechanical systems using advanced parametric CAD tools.

  • TAD (Tooling & Assembly Definition)

Strong experience in TAD principles, tooling and assembly strategies is essential.

  • PLM Integration

A proven track record of integrating Product Lifecycle Management systems for version control, workflows and digital thread management.

  • Structural Design & Collaboration

Solid understanding of structural analysis fundamentals.

  • Material Engineering & Manufacturability

Expert knowledge of materials with a clear understanding of process-specific constraints.

  • Additive Manufacturing & 3D Printing

Well-versed in 3D printing techniques and additive manufacturing processes.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working closely with systems engineering, integration, sourcing, testing and manufacturing teams.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in mechanical product design, preferably in aerospace, UAVs or robotics.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, TAD and GD&T.
  • Experience in PLM/PDM platforms, ideally Windchill.
