Operations Planning Specialist

Key to this role is optimizing raw material blending and production planning across operations while focusing on cost efficiency, quality control, and AI-driven analytics.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage blend schedules for pet coke feedstock in order to meet business objectives.
  • Ensure inventories and production rates align with shipment schedules by tracking progress regularly.
  • Evaluate sourcing options and logistics to minimize costs while maintaining product specifications.
  • Built and maintain business models using tools and Linear Programming (LP) for predictive planning purposes.
  • Collaborate effectively with teams globally to drive process improvements.
  • Handle transactions and generate reports on production, inventory, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in planning/blending, preferably in carbon/metallurgical industries.
  • Strong skills in Linear Programming modeling and data analysis.
  • SAP and advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for data analysis and optimization.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and adaptability skills in a global team environment.
