Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineering Manager to lead our team of engineers in the implementation of physical design solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in block-level physical design, signoff, and timing signoff.

About the Role:

This is a key leadership position that requires strong technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 4-6 engineers in the development of physical design solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Implement block-level physical design from RTL to GDSII or netlist to GDSII.
  • Perform block-level physical signoff, including power signoff.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Perl, Tcl, Awk, and Python.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in physical design implementation.
  • Experience with Perl, Tcl, Awk, and Python scripting languages.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
