IT Infrastructure Lead

The IT Head is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of IT infrastructure, applications, and systems supporting plant operations. This role focuses on delivering high-quality IT services to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.

  • Develop and implement a robust infrastructure strategy encompassing production, engineering, quality control, and warehouse functions.
  • Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Oversee the deployment and management of active and passive networking components, including switches, routers, firewalls, and cable systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, particularly those relevant to GxP standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation practices for IT infrastructure, applications, configurations, and procedures.
  • Implement information security measures, including cybersecurity protocols and privacy security standards to safeguard sensitive data.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven track record of heading IT systems in medium to large-scale formulations or API manufacturing facilities.
  • Strong expertise in server management, active and passive networking, information security, and pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality processes.
  • Adequate knowledge of OT-IT systems integration (L1 & L2 systems, DAS, Historian).
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, virtualization technologies, and project management.
  • Good exposure to regulated audits, certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNA, or equivalent, and computerized systems validation.
