Job Title: Powertrain Quality Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Powertrain Quality Manager to oversee the development and implementation of quality strategies that drive business results. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing cross-functional teams, improving processes, and implementing cost-saving initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Align with all stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Review and guide upgrades to systems and processes to deliver consistent products to customers.
  • Ensure required actions are taken to achieve warranty cost targets on powertrains.
  • Identify and build capability of the team for current and future requirements.
  • Develop a strong process to capture customer voice and resolve issues promptly.
  • Align non-performing suppliers to meet quality requirements.
  • Make critical decisions on product and process to ensure customer requirements are met.

Requirements:

  • 20 years of general experience in the industry.
  • Experience as a Product Quality Head for Engine Plants.
  • Exposure to projects and initiatives to improve powertrain reliability and durability.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and problem-solving tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in new product FTR quality projects.
  • Hands-on experience in warranty system analysis and warranty cost reduction projects.
  • Experience leading a medium or large-sized team.
