Analytics Platform Designer

As a Fabric Architect, you will design and scale next-generation analytics platforms in the Microsoft ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Scalable Solutions: Design and implement scalable Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and analytics solutions in Microsoft Fabric.
  • Build Optimized Pipelines: Build and optimize data pipelines, transformations, and storage using Dataflows, Pipelines, Spark, and Delta Lake.
  • Translate Business Needs: Translate business needs into technical solutions and drive ingestion-to-insight workflows.
  • Establish CI/CD Practices: Establish CI/CD practices with Azure DevOps, ARM, or Terraform.
  • Ensure Governance Security: Ensure governance, security, and compliance through Purview integration.
  • Monitor Troubleshoot: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Fabric workloads.
  • Stay Ahead New Capabilities: Stay ahead of new Fabric capabilities and mentor junior team members.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8-12 years in data engineering, architecture, or analytics.
  • Hands-on Experience: 2-3 years hands-on with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Skills: Strong in SQL, Python, or PySpark.
  • Azure Services: Solid experience with Microsoft Azure services.
  • IaC Tools Data Governance: Familiarity with IaC tools (ARM/Terraform) and data governance practices.

Skills Attributes:

  • Lakehouse Design: Strong understanding of Lakehouse and unified analytics design.
  • Pipeline Building: Ability to build both batch and real-time pipelines.
  • Effective Communication: Effective communicator and collaborator.
  • Adaptability: Adaptive and proactive in fast-evolving tech landscapes.
