Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our team.

About the Role

This is a high-profile position responsible for full life cycle support of client's database(s).

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Support and maintain databases across various environments, including on-premises and cloud platforms.
  • Develop and implement database systems using Oracle RAC and non-RAC configurations for OLTP and warehouse applications.
  • Patch and maintain Oracle Exadata systems.
  • Perform quarterly patch applications (PSU) and periodic database upgrades with minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with developers to design and build new structures to support application enhancements and promote database changes throughout the Dev, UAT, and Prod databases.
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation and perform periodic after-hours support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of related experience with implementation and administration of database systems.
  • Able to administer, manage and tune high-transaction Standalone/RAC production server environment(s) on premises and cloud environments.
  • Able to understand and meet needs of end users.
  • Able to work with multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced and often changing environment.
