Interior Design Intern Job Summary

As a creative and detail-oriented Interior Design Intern, you will assist in designing rooftop lounge layouts that balance functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability. You will collaborate with engineering teams to integrate solar panel structures into the lounge design without compromising style and usability.

This role requires strong visualization skills with the ability to translate concepts into renderings. The ideal candidate should have a good portfolio and be able to work in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Assist in designing rooftop lounge layouts that balance functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate solar panel structures into the lounge design
  • Develop design concepts for seating, lighting, flooring, and shading that align with solar installations
Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop interior spaces that are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet client requirements and company standards
  3. Conduct research on eco-friendly materials, furniture, and finishes to propose sustainable design solutions
  4. Develop and maintain accurate records of projects, including sketches, mood boards, and design concepts
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating interior design skills and experience
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
